Successful Test of the new Suter Moto2 Grand Prix Machine

Suter Racing Technology completed a successful first testing in Valencia (Spain) with the all new Suter-MMX MOTO2 bike mid of last week.
These first tests have shown that SRT has hit the mark with its new construction: while many of the different manufacturers for Moto2 have already tested their motorbikes for some time now, the Suter machine could come up with the same test times in only a few rounds. In the 3 days of testing, hence we were always present in the top 3 of the timetable.
Testrider thrilled
The Italian testrider Roberto Rolfo (2nd in Worldchampionship 2003) was very happy with the handling and performance of the new motorbike. After a few basis tests we saw that the machine was reacting very precise to different setup changes and with no problems at all the 500km of testing were absolved. At the very end of the testing an unfortunate crash occurred which however was not heavy (only some fairing got damaged).
Shift Production at SRT
SRT has brilliantly accomplished the first steps in the challenge of this new class of world championship motorbike racing: in only a few months we have developed a brand new Grand Prix racing machine. Because of SRT's good reputation in the Grand Prix sport, many teams have shown a big interest in the bike as well as using this Swiss racer in the next year. Therefore, at Suter Racing the production is working in shift to meet this big demand. As of today, up to one third of the 38 riders counting starting field for the coming season will compete on the Suter-MMX
Eskil Suter, CEO and former Grand Prix pilot:
“Because of our yearlong experience and successes in the Grand Prix sport many teams have shown confidence in us. Almost all machines have been sold even before we have been testing for the first time. The new Suter-MMX motorbike will be the benchmark in this class in respect of cost/performance ratio. Because of intense research and development work we have managed to offer an uncompromising GP racer which costs even less than the ones from other manufacturers.“.
Swiss Rider on the Suter-MMX
Along with riders from all over the world, also the young Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter will compete on the Swiss racer Suter-MMX. We from Suter Racing are happy with this new co-operation with a Swiss rider wich will be ridinging for the French / Swiss team TECHNOMAG-CIP.
