Silverstone Qualifiying: 4 Suter MMX in Front!

The legendary Silverstone race track in the heart of England, venue of this year’s British Motorcycle Grand Prix, means gold for Suter MMX in the Moto2 category:
Four Suter MMX riders conquered the front row on the starting grid for the race on Sunday, with Italian Claudio Corti in pole position ahead of his French Team Forward Racing team-mate Jules Cluzel, German Stefan Bradl in third and the reigning 125 cc champion, Spaniard Julian Simon, in fourth place.
Arne Tode from Racing Team Germany in eighth position and Shoya Tomizawa, Scott Redding and Dominique Aegerter in 11th, 12th and 13th place completed a great day which saw eight of a total of 13 Suter MMX prototypes within the top 13 of 41 riders.

“It’s great to see so many of our bikes in top positions, and we are all very happy”, beamed Eskil Suter, CEO of Suter Racing Technology. “Silverstone is a track that tests the chassis and the suspension parts to the max. There are also fast and sweeping turns that confirm the good corner speed of our bikes once again. Our riders didn’t have major issues with the set-up of the bike despite the relatively short dry track time after the wet first practice session on Friday. This shows that our base set-up suits this track. I just feel a bit sorry for Shoya Tomizawa who could have been much higher up in the rankings if he hadn’t crashed twice!”
